A HIGH Court judicial review of last year's Studley Bypass public inquiry findings, set for June 21, has been postponed because 'new information' has come to light.

The Highways Agency submitted the information to Warwickshire County Council which has now asked for more time to examine it, prompting more uncertainty for villagers desperate for a resolution.

But the information will not be publicly released and officers and councillors have been told it is confidential until the county council barristers have had time to look at it.

The Government decided to revoke the route orders for the bypass after the public inquiry at Studley Village Hall in January last year.

If the judicial review does ultimately go ahead it will not be before September.
