Redditch squaddie Aaron Binnersley and his mates are looking for letters from home to help boost the morale of troops in Iraq.
Aaron, of Ombersley Close, Woodrow, is one of the 3,000 extra troops who were posted to Basra in southern Iraq two months ago.
Aaron's sister Lauren Moore said: 'He is single and would really like to hear from some girls in the town!
