There was disappointment for Division One Astwood Bank and Alvechurch as both tasted defeat to keep them mid-table.
Bank went down by 119 runs at lowly Brockhampton, scoring just 144 in answer to their hosts' total of 263-7.
And Alvechurch also suffered on their travels, losing by 38 runs at Chaddesley Corbett. The home side totalled 196 but that proved just enough as their visitors reached just 168 in reply.
