THE Mercian Festival Junior Football League is going ahead with its plans to introduce U8s football for the first time next season.
This will be in the format of a league, but instead of a knock-out cup competition, a fun day will be arranged later in the season, when all participants will receive a memento.
Games will be played on Saturday mornings.
Applications for the above and other age groups for next season are welcome, especially U11s mini soccer for girls and U13s girls 11-a-side football.
