A COMMUNITY spirited Evesham resident is to take tea with the Queen.
Jean Dyke, chairman of the Coronation Street disabled club, is thrilled to be invited to a garden party at Buckingham Palace on July 14.
She said: "I was really surprised to get the invitation from the Lord Chamberlain, and very pleased.
"I suppose it may be because I have been the chairman of the club for 18 years."
She says she's now on the look out for a new outfit. An afternoon dress and hat, is the dress code for the day, Mrs Dyke said.
