I HAVE recently returned from holiday and read that the district council intends to spend £1.2 million on the Kidderminster Town Hall.

Would someone on the council inform me as to who will benefit from this facelift, and what percentage of Kidderminster people they represent? I would reckon approximately two per cent, if not less.

This money would be better spent on road, drain and pavement repairs, also better street cleaning and policing in the area.

Then 100 per cent of residents would benefit from the monies they have paid in as Council Tax.

Please, let no-one say that this refurbishment will improve the town in any way, or benefit the majority.
