I WRITE in response to the article in the May 25 issue of the Shuttle/Times and News, regarding Councillor Nigel Knowles.
The governors of St Barnabas CE First School are very grateful for his sterling work to save the school during the Wyre Forest review.
I would like to point out that, though the article inferred that St Barnabas is closing due to falling roll, this is far from the truth.
The school is a victim of the review process.
St Barnabas is full and thriving and will continue to deliver a high standard of teaching to its pupils.
The school has an excellent reputation, of which we are justly proud.
