BRIAN Humphries continued his recent good form for the Amazing Feet Running Club, achieving tenth place in the 6.5-mile multi-terrace Stourbridge Stumble, in a time of 40 minutes 17 seconds.

Humphries also took runners-up spot in the M40 category.

Sarah Armstrong was third lady, second in the F35 category, making fourth place overall in 44-10, while Jane Pye, who finished 173rd in 55-42, was second in the F45 category.

Shaw Pye was 15th in 4-113, Craig Lewis 17th in 41-17, Martin Howles 22nd in 42-21 and John Amos 27th in 42-47.

Other club finishers: Nic Hyde 51st, 45-21, Pete Wall 58th 45-44, David Pye 61st 45-47, Simon Gregg 86th 47-42, Andy Norris 94th 48-22, Sarah Lewis 140th 52-35, Colin Lucas 149th 53-53, Tamara Carse 168th 55-18, Gerry Sanders 169th 55-19, Lindsay Pulley 191st 58-47, James Young 194th 59-58, Jean Lucas 214th one hour 4-37.

As a result of the event, C Lewis moved ahead of D Pye into second position, but Amos holds a large 28-point advantage at the top.

Armstrong has regained the lead of the Ladies League, with S Lewis and J Pye second and third, just three points separate the three ladies.

D and J Pye were in action 20 hours later at the Warndon Villages Fun Run in Worcester. D Pye finished 12th in the 15km race in 1-8-12, finishing as first M50.

David Whymant also won his category, first M55 in fifth place overall in 1-2-07.

In the 10k race, J Pye was first F45 in 51-49 in 52nd place, and with Anne Rendell (79th, 1-3-19, 2nd F45), and Trudi Pederson (80th, 1-3-34, 2nd F40) won the overall event Ladies Team prize.

Pulley was first M65 in the 5km race, finishing 63rd in 28-24.
