ROB Wood demonstrated his mastery of the cycling time trial with another convincing win in last week's Velo Club Sevale 10-mile event held on the Chance Lane circuit.
His winning time was 22min 27sec, with Brian Boswell second in 24min 13sec, and Nick Stinton third in 24min 41sec. Mike Amery chose to ride a fixed wheel and came a good fourth.
The full results were: R Wood 22.27, B Boswell 24.13, N Stinton 24.41, M Amery (fixed wheel) 25.06, W Davies 25.20, C Smallman 27.03, S O'Toole 27.21, S Price (fixed wheel) 27.46, T Knight 28.08, H Treadwell 29.15, K O'Toole 31.08, E Bray 34.14.
The next event is a 15-mile time trial on Thursday (May 12), starting at 7pm from Castlemorton Common.
