A thanksgiving service to mark 21 years of care at St Richard's Hospice takes place at Malvern Priory.
Thousands of patients and their families have been cared for at the hospice in Worcester since it opened in 1984.
The hospice, which supports people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, has grown from a handful of patients looked after by one clinical nurse in 1984 to an organisation which last year cared for more than 1,400 patients and their families.
The anniversary service takes place at 7.30pm on Wednesday (May 11). Rev John Barr will give the blessing and the speaker will be Chris Shaw, of the national charity Help The Hospices. St James's School Choir will lead the singing.
To attend the service, call the St Richard's Hospice volunteer co-ordinator on 01905 763963.
