n Bosbury: Friday, May 20: At the parish hall, a concert of wartime songs will be followed by a ration book supper, including Woolton Pie, a wartime recipe from the Savoy Hotel. The Greenwood Voices will join the wartime singalong and everyone is encouraged to dress in 1940s outfits. It starts at 7.30pm and tickets, £5 for adults (under 10s free), are available from Bosbury village shop and the Bell Inn.

Bosbury - The War Years is an exhibition the parish hall on Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22 from 11am to 5.30pm. Wartime memorabilia has been loaned by local people and the exhibition runs alongside the Bosbury Flower Festival, which will include displays on the theme of Bosbury - The Home Front. It is in the parish church and Old Boys' Club.

n Madresfield: Monday, May 23: All Our Yesterdays, a talk about the role of women in wartime at Madresfield Early Years Centre at 8pm. It is by Muriel Pushman, who has had two books about her wartime experiences published. A collection at the end will be for the Tsunami Appeal.

n Upton: Display of wartime memorabilia in the library throughout June. On Sunday, July 3, is an Ecumenical service of celebration at St Peter and St Paul Church, supported by the Royal British Legion.

n Leigh and Bransford: Saturday, July 9: Exhibition of photographs and wartime memorabilia at the Memorial Hall. Parade by veterans, talk by Territorial Army, music from Leigh and Bransford Primary School brass band and choir and funfair for children. The Royal British Legion, Women's Institute, Evergreen Club, playgroup and parish council are among those taking part.
