GREEN-FINGERED householders are being urged to pick up their trowels and pit their plants against others in the 2005 Broadwaters in Bloom contest.
The hanging basket and front garden flower competition is being held during the spring and summer months.
Information leaflets are currently being distributed in the area and more details can be obtained by calling 01562 751500.
The Friends of Broadwaters are also holding a plant swap event on Saturday, May 21 at Broadwaters Mill.
The event, which starts at 10.30am, is an opportunity for people to take along their spare plants and sell or swap them.
