A PLAY considered to be one of the great English classics of the 20th century is to be staged in Kidderminster this month.
Hobson's Choice is being performed in the main house of The Rose Theatre by resident acting group, The Nonentities, from Monday until Saturday.
The play, by Harold Brighouse, is set in Salford, Manchester and follows Henry Horatio Hobson's attempts to get the better of his three bumptious daughters, which result in one of them, Maggie, setting out to woo his boot-maker.
More information and tickets for the show, which is described by the group as "as funny, poignant, radical and relevant as ever", can be obtained by calling the Rose Theatre Box Office on 01902 743745.
