THE four princesses who will get the royal treatment at this year's Bewdley Carnival have been chosen.
The youngsters, who live and attend schools in the town, will lead the procession to the carnival field at Bewdley Leisure Centre on June 11.
Charlotte Halford, seven, and Alexia Burrows, six, attend Wribbenhall First School. Charlotte enjoys dance, music and art and Alexia is keen on swimming, art and singing.
Rosie Greaney, eight, and Penelope Gunn, six, are pupils at St Anne's First School. Rosie is a member of the Brownies and likes art and mathematics. Penelope is a keen athlete and also enjoys playing tennis.
This year's carnival takes place on June 11. In the run-up to the big day there will be an open day at Bewdley Fire Station, a pub and club rowing regatta, a pet show, quiz night and then fireworks over the town on Friday, June 10.
Anyone who wants to enter a float in the parade or set up a stall at the carnival should call Angie Pitt on 01299 402723.
