THE regular walk took place on April 4, starting from Hawkbatch, of around three miles duration.
At the April 19 meeting, Stan Griffin taught members the delights of growing cacti, explaining their nature, and care, watering, re-potting (prickly problems reduced by using bubble-wrap), and growing from seed. The competition for a member's cactus was won by Enid Blount, with a giant Ferocactus Wislizonii.
The next gathering at the Far Forest Centre, is on Tuesday at 7.45pm, when Far Forest will share the resolutions meeting with Button Oak.
