A BIG thanks to Simon Swaffield and his partner, Tony Dicks, for bringing Wyre Forest a cinema after 20 years.
I have just come home after seeing the Screen 3 performance of Vera Drake, which I tried to see while it was at Worcester, but because of train times missed it.
Hence, I was able to go to work, visit the hairdresser and see a film for £3 (senior citizen price).
The young staff are friendly and courteous, the dcor in pastel colours is very relaxing, and the coffee is good.
On the negative side, it was a very cold day and the heating almost non-existent.
I asked about the minibus and was told it would be available from that Saturday evening and would be a free service.
With something so new you can expect teething troubles and yes, definitely I will go again and encourage others to do the same.
We must support this venture for which we campaigned so long, and it can only be an asset to the town.
