A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has been indecently assaulted while sitting on a bench in Kidderminster.

Police are appealing for information about the attack, which happened after a man approached the teenager and began talking to her, while she was sitting at the bottom of Mill Street.

The victim was not injured but was left shaken and distressed by the incident, which happened between about 1.30pm and 1.45pm on Tuesday.

The man is described as white, aged around 20, 6ft 1ins tall and of medium build. He had strawberry blond spiky hair, was wearing a leather jacket and had a blue duffel-style bag.
