SHOPPERS are being warned to be on their guard after a woman had a bag containing more than £1,500 worth of jewellery stolen.
The theft is believed to have happened when the victim became distracted by a young woman leaning over her as she bought some onions in Tesco in Kidderminster.
The woman is described as white, aged 18 to 25 and slim, with blonde hair and a tattoo on her shoulder.
The bag, taken between 3pm and 4pm on Wednesday last week, contained a ring worth £1,300, a necklace worth £230 and a mobile phone worth £145.
