I WONDER if any readers could give me any information on a firm that was based at Shurnock, near Redditch?
The firm was called E&G Norbury of Shurnock.
Are they still in existence? Are there any former employees who could give me any information at all?
My reason for wanting this information is that I have a private collection of Ferguson tractors and Ferguson-related implements and I am researching businesses that made machinery for the famous Irish tractor builder from Coventry.
E&G Norbury made a manless bale and sack loader for Harry Ferguson in the 1950s to fit the famous little grey Ferguson.
Some of your readers may have information they could pass on to me or there may be one lying around in the back of a shed that I could purchase for my museum.
Anyone with any information or articles I could borrow can contact me at the address below.
