I WOULD like, through your paper, to register a complaint with regard to the traffic situation along Evesham Road, Headless Cross, around the St Luke's Church area.
For a while now we have had to put up with an increase in commercial vehicles being parked outside the Memorial Hall.
Daily, we are faced with commercial vehicles trying to negotiate between parked cars and reversing their vehicles onto this busy road.
If they were delivering goods, fine, but they are developing the area into a lorry park. They are there all day, obstructing the buses, making it difficult for passengers to get off the bus in a safe manner onto the kerb because they can't get close enough to it.
They unload large pieces of building equipment, which obstructs the pathways for parents coming to the Memorial Hall to collect children, and should you wish to pull out of the car park for the hall, you stand absolutely no chance of seeing any oncoming traffic past the lorries.
If you add to this the prospect of bin collection on a Wednesday and the increased levels of traffic along the road anyway, there is an accident waiting to happen.
I have already started a petition and would welcome the support of anyone who could help move them on.
The council, the police and our MP have also been informed and I await responses from them.
