THE "lives, loves and slightly worrying dance moves" of a weekly adult tap dancing class form the subject matter for hilarious comedy Stepping Out, at Malvern's Festival Theatre from Monday.
The show stars Patsy Palmer, formerly Bianca in Eastenders, in the lead role in the 20th anniversary of the production.
Stepping Out was made into a hugely successful film starring Julie Walters, Liza Minnelli and Shelly Winters in 1991 before returning to the stage as a musical in 1998.
A spokesman said: " Follow nine ladies of assorted ages, ambitions and sizes, plus one man who doesn't want to be noticed and usually isn't, from rather hopeless beginnings to their glittering opening night.
"Stepping Out is an hilarious comedy, complete with songs and dancing too."
The show runs from Monday until Saturday, May 14, evenings at 8pm with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.
Tickets, priced £16-£24 (£8 students) from the box office on 01684 892277 or online at www.malvern-theatres.co.uk
