BROCKHILL racer Paul Crees maintained his good form in the Mighty Minis Championship with two more top six finishes.
The Bank Holiday weekend saw him battling for honours at Brand's Hatch in a 25-minute race.
But work on the suspension and ride heights of his Mini failed to benefit Crees who had a difficult time around the Kent circuit.
With his tyres not at their best he was happy with a final sixth position but missed out on fifth by a few inches.
Crees had been in action at Castle Combe the previous week and secured an impressive fifth place following an eventful race.
After qualifying he made a good start and was soon in third in pursuit of the leaders. But Crees then had to take evasive action to steer clear of trouble forcing him onto the grass and back to ninth.
The final few laps saw the Redditch racer claw his way back to fourth only to drop a place after being shoved off the track going into the final corner.
Crees is back in action on May 22 when he heads to Pembrey in Wales.
