A BAT Walk at Croome Park is just one of the activities on offer during Worcestershire's Wildlife Week.
There will be a 45-minute introductory chat on Croome's nocturnal residents, before an evening wander in the park with bat detectors to pick up the animals' sonar.
Visitors should be able to spot daubentons, natterers, pipistrelles, lesser horseshoe and brown long-eared varieties.
The Bat Walk costs £7 per person - including tea and cakes afterwards - and starts at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 10. Pre-booking is required.
Two days later, on Thursday, May 12, visitors can view a rarely-seen area of the park on the Wetlands and Woodlands Walk.
Lickmoor Coppice is not usually open to the public but it will be opened up for the Thursday evening stroll.
Lapwings, nightingales, redshanks and shelducks are just some of the area's wildlife and walkers can learn more about the flora and fauna from conservation expert Simon Barker.
The walk costs £7 per person, with refreshments included, and begins at 7pm. Pre-booking is again essential.
Appropriate outdoor clothing is recommended. For more information or to book call Croome Park on 01905 371006.
