DRUG dealer-turned rapper 50 Cent churns out more tales of his gun-toting past in his second album.

Singles to already have been released are Candy Shop and Disco Inferno and both are instantly likeable with great lyrics.

There is the feeling however, that 50 is trying to please both his hardened followers with some tough talking rap tracks alongside his fair-weather fans who will prefer the smoother, more commercial material.

But with a bumper crop of 22 tracks there is plenty to please everyone.

Collaborations read like a Who's Who of popular culture and include Dr Dre, G-Unit, Eminem and man-of-the-moment Jamie Foxx.

Outta Control, featuring the expert production of Dre is probably the best track on the album while Gatman and Robbin, with Eminem, is the weakest.

Fans of 50 will not be disappointed but I found The Massacre hard to listen to and found the tracks less catchy and original than those on Get Rich.

However, I have no doubt this album will sail to the top of the charts and 50 will continue his domination of the hip-hop game.
