TEN victories will rubber-stamp Evesham United's passport out of Southern League Division One West, according to manager Dave Busst.

The Robins have 12 games left this season, starting with tomorrow's clash at Thame United (3pm), and a formidable winning run is likely to send the promotion chasers into the Premier Division.

Top two Mangotsfield United and Clevedon Town stand in their way but third-placed Evesham have a game in hand on both clubs and are currently enjoying a rich vein of form.

Last Saturday's 3-1 triumph over Paulton gave Dave Busst's men their fourth league win in a row and he has set a target in the final two months.

Busst said: "It's the first time this season that we've won four on the trot. Obviously, with the teams around us still winning, it's important we have been on a good run.

"There's 12 games left and, realistically, we need to win 10 of them to go up. We've now got two winnable games coming up with Thame and Swindon and it's important we win them.

"After that, we've got to play the teams around us, Clevedon and Yate. That could be the games that decide who goes up. It would be nice if we went into those games with two more wins under our belt."

Thame thwarted the Robins earlier this season, earning a goalless draw at Common Road, and Busst is hopeful the Oxfordshire club show greater ambition at Windmill Road.

He may put new signing Matty Hall into the starting line-up on the right of midfield.

The former Moor Green man played one game on loan for Evesham last month against Bromsgrove.

Defender Lee Knight and midfielder Leon Blake, restricted to the bench against Paulton, could miss out once again if Busst sticks with his winning side.
