AN enterprising deaf Worcestershire woman has surprised her mother with an unusual gift, thanks to Martley-based TM Logistics.
Twenty-nine-year-old Anna Herriman, who is profoundly deaf, telephoned TM Logistics' Edgar House head office on the RNID typetalk service from BT to ask if they produced models of its familiar green lorries for a special present.
Anna's mother Penny, who lives in St John's, Worcester, is a big TM Logistics fan and when they travel around the country they often spot the liveried lorries.
Anna was delighted when TM Logistics donated a 1.43 scale model of one of their lorries.
"It was so kind of TM Logistics to help me out with my special request and my mother was thrilled to bits," she said.
