EAGER youngsters keen to watch a traditional puppet show bombarded Bewdley Library when Clive Chandler dropped in to perform the story of Pinocchio.
Anne Langford, assistant arts officer for Worcestershire County Council, said the show was watched by more than 40 children and their families - and there were other children who queued up but were unable to get a ticket.
"It was an outstanding success, everyone enjoyed it and we could have run two," she said.
She added it was another example of the range of events at libraries across the county.
