GLASSES were raised as the Royal British Legion officially opened the revamped lounge at its Stourport club.
The £16,000 refurbishment includes new carpets, seating and a sound system for the 270 members at the Lichfield Street building. Stourport mayor, councillor Allan Wood, was the guest of honour at the ceremony on Friday.
"We had a crowd of about 80 members and it was a super evening," said club secretary, Mike Freeman.
