THE speaker at the February meeting, held at Baxter College, Kidderminster, was Mike Dickins.
After 34 years in motor manufacturing, Mr Dickins joined the local Talking Newspaper group in 1980. He is particularly interested in interviewing and outside broadcasts and he presented an evening of nostalgia for members.
He had a wide-ranging collection of recordings and was able to recreate the sounds of a particular decade.
