ASTLEY Cross brought their long Trivia League losing sequence to an end with a narrow victory over Wyre Forest rivals Angel.
The three top teams Rising Sun A, Red Man BCC and Hare & Hounds all had convincing victories.
Results: Bird in Hand 59, Rising Sun A 71; Red Man BCC 69, Bell 52; Hare & Hounds 71, George 53; Astley Cross 59, Angel 57.
In the Bewdley division, Red Man Extras kept up their challenge to Eagles Nest with a good win over former Kidderminster rivals from the Station.
Results: New Inn 64, Black Boy Hotel 47; Foresters 55, Cock B 48; Cock A 47, Boars Head 60; Station 52, Red Man Extras 61.
And the Stourport section saw Old Rose & Crown B halted by Bridge after five straight wins.
But despite the defeat they still lead Rising Sun B who got back to winning ways and Holly Bush who enjoyed success against the Radcliffe.
