GREAT Witley Playgroup has been given top marks from Ofsted inspectors who found all areas of learning were "very good."
The 24 children, aged from two, were judged to be receiving very good nursery education and to be eager to learn, interested in the activities and making very good progress.
The inspectors praised staff for being capable and confident, creating a stimulating but reassuring atmosphere for play and learning.
They found no significant weaknesses at the playgroup, which is based in the village hall and has been running for more than 30 years
The report recommended improvements in assessment and short term planning.
