WORCESTER Warriors have all the angles covered as they bid to beat the freeze.

The Sixways side, who face Sale Sharks on Friday night, have had the pitch covered since Saturday as temperatures plummeted.

Worcester will be looking for their third Premiership victory in succession so are desperate to get the game on, especially with BskyB televising the match.

Operations director Mike Robins said: "We've taken all the precautions necessary to make sure the game is on.

"We are told that the temperature will go down to -5C tonight but the covers can withstand that.

"The pitch isn't frozen at present and I don't think there will be any problem with the game."
