DROITWICH Dolphins hosted the first round of the Worcester Winter League.
Fielding a team depleted by sickness and injuries they performed well to snatch third place overall.
Fiona Watt was the Droitwich star with first place in the Girls U15 freestyle and butterfly events. David Fisher came second in the U15 boys backstroke and freestyle events.
Sophie Cave and Ben Rimington finished second in the U11 age group, Sophie in freestyle and Ben in breaststroke.
Lauren Hall-Annison had three individual swims and claimed second place in the U15 breaststroke. Natalie Blakemore also scored well in her three individual events.
Fizz Hunter, Steve Snape, Joe Hobbis and Nick Rimington each competed in more than one event along with Sophie Cave.
Perry Beeches 'A' won the gala followed by Redditch, Droitwich, Perry Beeches 'B', Wombourne and Ross.
