STOURPORT Swifts boss Dave Titterton has hailed the immediate impact of new signing Richard Burgess after the striker's match-winning debut.
Burgess marked his arrival from Bromsgrove by netting the two goals that sunk Bedworth United at Walshes Meadow last weekend.
And the Swifts manager is hoping the striker will continue to have an uplifting effect away at Southern League division one west rivals Yate on Saturday.
"You always hope that when you bring somebody in they will have an immediate impact," he said.
"He has given everybody a lift and has shown that I'm not prepared to let things drift until the end of the season. I want us to win games and get ourselves back in the pack."
Paul Lloyd is doubtful for Saturday with a badly bruised foot.
