AS a councillor in the previous administration at Malvern Hills, my memory has not failed me in confirming that Councillor Clive Smith spoke in haste in Malvern Focus a week last Friday.
For him to state that the overspend on the refurbishment of the Malvern Splash happened prior to the appointment of the current administration at MHDC is both foolish and wrong.
Just as well, because it should be pointed out that the member portfolio holder for Sport at that time is the current Leader of MHDC, Tom Wells.
