EXCELLENT shooting and team work from both West Malvern and TWS ensured a tight match in Worcester City Netball League Sunday Division Two.

Kate Webb at wing attack for West Malvern and shooter Kate Philpotts for TWS had outstanding games as TWS hung on to win 36-31.

Worcester Tech capitalised on King's lack of numbers in the first-half of their Division One match, missing few opportunities to score but King's eventually won 36-25.

Saracen Colts edged out Evesham 'B' 26-22 in a highly competitive game in Sunday Division Two.

Evesham's two-point half-time lead was cancelled out to 22-22 before the Colts nicked it.

A close start between Saracens and Smart Cut in Sunday Division One turned into a comfortable 48-15 success for Saracens.

Stourport Sports' 34-23 win against Headliners in Sunday Division One did not reflect the end-to-end battle. Stourport started well but floundered later in the game when Headliners, particularly through the efforts of shooter Lisa Imondi, fought back.

Unhindered by playing short for the first seven minutes, Access 2 matched TWS goal for goal before being nudged out 37-31.
