SQUASH: Club Ventura were looking to improve on their mid-table position in Worcestershire League Division One but were outwitted 3-2 at home by Stourbridge.
Wins for James Bralee and Mark Field were cancelled out by defeats for captain Stuart Harris and Tim Hollingsworth.
The final deciding match saw Dean Jackson and his Stourbridge opponent level in games 2-2 before a couple of heated disputes raised the temperature on court and the away side narrowly gained the vital points.
n Club Ventura seconds are not far behind leaders David Lloyd of Bromsgrove in Division Three and gained ground after a comfortable 4-1 win away to Cannons.
