BROMSGROVE Rovers have all but blown their chances of moving up to the Dr Martens Premier.
The 2-2 draw with Cinderford Town last Saturday leaves them ninth in the Dr Martens Western.
A play-off was their best hope before that but now Rovers have to win their last game at Mangotsfield Town this Saturday and hope Solihull take no more than a point from their last three matches.
Player/manager Steve Pope said: "It's unlikely but it's the same old story - if you can't finish you can't win games. We had more than enough chances.
"I think the majority of people will agree that we have played some great football in the last six games and the team spirit has been outstanding. Apart from the Cirencester game we deserved to win all the games."
Chairman Tom Herbert hopes to name a new boss by May 1. Interviews are taking place this week.
