MEMBERS are now well prepared with Christmas decorations after a wonderful demonstration by Janet Miller.
All should have Christmas crackers to match the decor or table cloth, with a personal gift inside and simple but attractive serviette rings to compliment the setting.
Festive door hangings, swashes and table decorations should be all ready and waiting to be put in place.
She also gave some useful tips such as how to wire a fir cone, making a table decoration base from twigs, wrapping "wish bones" with silver foil, how to tie bows and how to wrap bottles in an attractive manner.
There will be a craft fair on November 24, a thanksgiving lunch at WI House on November 25 and the annual carol concert at Kidderminster Town Hall on December 3.
With the re-opening of Cookhill Village Hall on Saturday, meetings will once again be held there, the first on December 8 at 7.30pm. All welcome.
