PLANS are in full swing at Bromsgrove RFC as they prepare to welcome the World Cup.
The club was officially told last week the William Webb Ellis Trophy will definitely be coming to Finstall Park on Friday, February 6.
But only now is the full scale of the visit becoming apparent.
As well as the cup there will be a huge roadshow, complete with kicking and scrummaging machines, taking the club by storm.
It is due to arrive in Bromsgrove with a police escort.
The trophy is also scheduled to appear on BBC Midlands Today and ITV's Central News during the day.
It is also beleived the Rugby Football Union want to involve as many schoolchildren as possible with the event to promote the sport.
The Advertiser/Messenger revealed exclusively last week that the World Cup was set for Bromsgrove.
