A THREE-day public inquiry into a controversial proposal to extend a chimney for an animal carcass incinerator is still going ahead from next Wednesday.
The hearing will be at Redditch Town Hall - despite the fact other plans for the site in Astwood Bank have already been given the go-ahead.
The inquiry was called after Popes Lane By Products appealed to the secretary of state because an application to extend the chimney from eight-12 metres was not determined by Redditch Council within the statutory eight week time period.
