GUESTS to Bromsgrove Methodist Centre are in for a sizzling time at a bacon buttie bonanza.
The sarnies will be sold at the Stratford Road venue this Saturday to raise funds for firefighter Simon Hawkins. Simon lost a leg in a motorbike accident earlier this year.
Organiser David Wetton said: "I am hoping the event can raise a good amount of money towards the Simon Hawkins Appeal."
All proceeds will go towards raising the £10,000 needed for a new artificial limb for Simon. Barclays Bank plc have also offered to match the total amount raised by the bonanza under their employee matched funding scheme.
The event starts at 10am and runs until 12.30pm.
