ON Friday, September 24, I was suddenly taken ill with a penicillin allergy.

Pamela, who called the ambulance; the two paramedics, Ian and Russell, who were great; Steve, who looked after my German shepherd dog; staff nurses Maria and Angela and nurses Mark and Richard, who looked after me at Worcestershire Royal; and Fiona, who collected me from hospital on Saturday morning. Everyone was great, thank you.
