A Missing Upton man may have been seen in Weston-super-Mare.
Richard William Prothero, of Holly Green, disappeared on Sunday.
A man matching his description was reportedly seen on Tuesday at the seaside resort near Bristol.
The 51-year-old, who works at Metal Castings in Worcester, is white, clean-shaven, with short black hair, a stocky build and a Midlands accent. He drives a red Citroen Xantia, registration L194 ADF.
A police spokesman said: "Although Mr Prothero has not been missing for a great length of time, there is genuine concern for this welfare as this is completely out of character for him. He was due to keep a regular family appointment which he had never missed before."
