THE Macmillan coffee morning last week, part of a national fundraising event, collected £154. Thanks to everyone who supported the cause.
Christ Church will be holding its harvest festival on Sunday at 9.30am and a bring and share elevenses will follow. The church will be decorated in the traditional way and if anyone has produce or flowers, please bring them to the church on Saturday morning.
Don't forget the circle dance tomorrow (Saturday) at the hall with music by Richard and Olivia Hunt. Dancing starts at 7.30pm, the bar will be open and supper is included in the ticket price of £5 adults, £3 children or £15 family.
A final reminder that the garden club meeting will be on Thursday, October 14 at 7.45pm, not the usual Wednesday.
