Tonight (Friday) Holy Trinity Bosbury celebrates its harvest festival. The evensong harvest service is at 6pm, led by the Reverend Nicky Seabright, and includes many traditional harvest hymns. Rev Sue Strutt and the churchwardens look forward to welcoming you. A harvest ceilidh with ploughman's supper is at 7.15pm in the parish hall. Fun for all the family, easy dances and traditional folk music by Ringerike plus guest spots from local musicians.

At last Saturday's Diocesan Choirs' Festival, friends and family were present to see the Bishop of Hereford present Felicity Ardrey with her Bishop's Award for Choristers. Felicity gained a distinction in the Royal School of Church Music examination and all young choristers in the Bosbury Church choir are following the Voice for Life training scheme under the expert guidance of choirmistress Esther Kay. This Sunday at Holy Trinity Bosbury, parish communion is at 9.30am, coffee will be served following the service.

Tickets for Bosbury Players' Pride and Prejudice are now on sale. The production takes place in the parish hall from Thursday, December 2 to Saturday, December 4. With a large cast of local talent, tickets will be much in demand so do buy yours early. Tickets are adults £6, children £4 and are available from members of the cast, Robert Hood-Wright on 01531 640234 or from the Bell Inn, Bosbury. The players are most grateful for the willing co-operation of landlord Martyn Newsome and colleague Lawton in providing a village base for ticket sales.

Bosbury WI holds its annual craft and produce show in the parish hall on Thursday, October 14 at 7.30pm.

A reminder that next Friday, October 15, a new line-dancing class is in the parish hall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
