COURSES looking at the treatment of football injuries are being offered at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough stadium over the coming weeks.

Harriers physio Jim Conway and the club's community officer Nick Griffiths will be running the classes.

The FA Emergency Aid Course is a three-hour session focusing on life-threatening injuries that can occur in sports.

It takes place from 6.30pm until 9.30pm on Friday and is open to anybody involved with junior, youth or adult football for a cost of £11.

Also running is the Level Two certificate in the Treatment and Management of Injuries (Basic).

The 20-hour course will take place over six consecutive Friday evenings, kicking off on October 22 at 6.30pm.

Students, who are already managers, trainers or sponge-men, will learn how to treat and manage common sports injuries.

Applicants must be aged 17 or over.

It costs £120 for all six sessions. Book early to avoid disappointment.
