THE secret story of every individual is the focus of the first weekend of Cheltenham Festival of Literature.
Novelist Helen Dunmore is guest director for the first weekend and she aims to bring together remarkable tales by extraordinary writers. "We're all walking secrets who may one day reveal our stories to one another," she said.
And in a special last-minute addition to the programme, shoehorned into tomorrow night's line-up, will be one individual with a particularly interesting tale to tell - Cherie Booth. She will be joined by social historian Cate Haste to discuss their book The Goldfish Bowl: Married to the Prime Minister. The event takes place at 2pm in the Town Hall.
