A "Punch and Pie" party was held at Sylvia Tudor-Hughes' home during August, raising money for the annual Denman bursary.
Eight members helped with activities at Areley Kings Club, teaching crafts and cookery to children as part of the NFWI Community Challenge.
At the September meeting future events were outlined for county, group and institute, the first of which was the following day, a 1920s evening entitled "Noel and Gertie" which was presented by drama tutor Jackie Tevlin, in aid of village hall funds.
Instead of a speaker, a games and social evening took place.
The next meeting will be held on Monday at Areley Kings village hall, starting at 7.30pm, when the speaker will be Mair Edwards who will tell members how to keep fit.
