DIRECTOR of rugby Phil Knowles has told Kidder-minster Carolians to maintain the standards they set with their first win of the season.

They travel to Telford on Saturday hoping for a repeat of last weekend's 25-18 success over Shrewsbury.

KCs can draw level with Telford on points in Midlands Three West (North) if they win and make just one change with Jason Sunderland unavailable.

Knowles said: "We're keeping pretty much the same side because the lads that played have set the standard and stay in on merit.

"People like Matt Rigsby and Paul Warman, who have come up from the seconds have done a good job for us and will stay in the team.

"But it's only one win and it's going to be a very tough league this season."

KC's injury worries show no immediate signs of easing, but Andy Stooksbury returns to the subs bench after helping to inspire last week's win in a coaching capacity.
